We are trying to plan our summer vacation, and I know I want to see my family in MN. I also want to go to the national Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome convention in Washington DC. So I've found some interesting spots along the way that I would like to visit. Here is a map of the trip we are planning on taking. Do you think we are crazy, or what? I think it will be fun. Austin isn't looking forward to it at all.
A: Detroit Lakes, MN (my dad's lake house)
B: Kritland, OH
C: Washington DC
D: Nauvoo, IL
E: Independence, MO
F: HOME!
All in all, the trip will take most of the month of July for me and the kids (Austin will fly in to meet us somewhere.) Here's to hoping it will all work out for us.

When you are in DC, try to take in the sites at the mall - Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, etc. It's amazing the history there. Have fun and see you in July!

Sounds like fun. You guys are ontop of things to have a family vacation planned already. Are you going to drive by yourself with the three kids or is anyone going to be able to go with you? I think your sister drove with you last year.
I hope so. If not you are one brave women. I can't imagine doing it with my three kids by my self.
