Pirate Party

For his last day of preschool, Holden's class had a pirate party. He knew what a pirate said and was excited, until we had to dress up. He didn't want any make up on his face and he didn't want to wear the necklace and he didn't want to take the sword. We talked him into the sword, we took off the necklace and we pretended to wipe off the goatee. He was such a cute pirate!
Holden enjoys the crafts they do at preschool. He has gotten pretty good at using the scissors there.
They made these hats as part of their pirate costume.

I love this kid!

After preschool, we met Austin at Walmart because he needed to get a few things for Fathers and Sons that night. Holden found a cars fishing pole that he wanted. While Austin packed, Holden had fun practicing casting and reeling - still dressed up like a pirate.
