Get Up Now

Tomorrow, we are going on a field trip with Clara's class. They are going fishing at the Salem Pond, and we have to be down there by 10:30ish, so I was telling Makayla that she was going to have to get up earlier than usual tomorrow, so she needed to go to bed at a decent hour tonight. Well, after she had been in bed for about 20 minutes, she came out and said, "Mom, sometimes I lay in bed for a while after I wake up in the morning, so I wrote 'get up now' on a piece of paper and laid it in bed next to me, so when I see it in the morning I will just get up. Isn't that a great idea?" She always has great ideas!
