Dream Night

Every year, as part of a world-wide event, the Hogle Zoo opens its doors after they close to disabled children and their families. We were invited to attend this years events and had a great time. Chick-fil-a catered the event, and they had a live band playing while we ate. We got to see the Elephant program, but we were disappointed that the bird show was canceled for the evening. They take the time to make sure these kids are having an extra special evening. All the kids got to pet a snake, and Clara tried to grab it a little too hard. We even decided to splurge and ride the train this year!
At the gift shop in the Asian Highlands exhibit, they had these cool hats for sale. The shop worker let us play with them and even took our picture for us.
Clara loved watching this peacock. She kept trying to grab it, but it wouldn't get close enough to her for that.
