More Water Fun

The rivers and oceans out in Virginia were a lot of fun. These top 2 pictures were taken at a river in Fredericksburg, VA. We were out touring some Civil War sites when we saw a bunch of people swimming in a river. We decided that it looked like a fun place to cool down and hang out. It was unbearable hot and humid out there, so the cool water felt nice.
We went down to Virginia Beach to hang out there for a couple days. Austin is in love with beaches, and he said this one is one of the best he's been to. Austin and Makayla had a great time splashing in the water and jumping the waves. Holden liked to play in and eat the sand, but he would get mad if he got wet. Clara liked to crawl right up to where the water would get her and sit and wait for the waves. Most of them just barely got her wet, but there were a few that bowled her over. Since she has no fears, I was always right next to her when she was that close to the water.
