WHS Conference

So the main reason for heading to Washington DC was for our Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome Support Group Convention. We really enjoyed all things we were able to learn from the doctors, professionals, and other parents there. It was fun to see our old friends and make new ones also.

This is the kids in the 0-5 age group. It is incredibly hard to get that many kids sitting still long enough to get a picture. The large group picture was even harder though.

On Friday night, they had a nice catered dinner for us. Holden ate everything in sight.

Makayla made some friends in the daycare, and instead of sitting with us, she chose to sit with her new friend. After dinner, they played on the dance floor, under the tables, and all around. I love that age when you can just be friends with whomever happens to be around!

After dinner, they had Karaoke and dancing. Only the kids sang, so we heard a lot of Hannah Montanna. Makayla thought she was the star getting to sing some of her favorite songs into the microphone!
Holden also thought he was the star with the mic and sucking on it.
